White Hall Historic Site — Attraction in Richmond

I always enjoy it there but even more so since now you can take your dogs out there with over two parking areas to choose from. They have a walking trail shared with a bicycle trail too. Those trails do reach a great amount of coverage to mengal on for those beautiful sunny days. They do have restrooms facilities for your uses and I got to say that I have been going to this park for over 8 years now and I have never seen the bathrooms to be closed for any reasons and they were always stocked with paper and soap. It does have a roof covered picnic shelter that has the benches and tables ready for any special occasion or just a quick lunch. Enjoy your lunch right by the ponds they do have or you can skip the lunch and go straight for your fishing poles with the whole family or just a nice quiet time away from the whole family just to be able to throw in a few...

I was back and forth on rather I was going to see this as I wasnt sure I would have time, but I ended up with some free time at the end of one of my days, so I did it. So glad I did wish I had been able to do the outside buildings, but it was so hot. But the house has been updated with ac which is nice, and I was the only person in the house other than the person checking you in. One of my ALL time favorite fishing spots. The "lake" is stocked every 3 or 4 months by Ky Fish and Wildlife. They just stocked it this week matter of fact. But if you don't catch a fish, i guarantee you will catch some peace of mind there. The property is beautiful and still has the historic house and quarters on it. I have never toured the house, yet, but i am interested in doing one of the Halloween Tea tours this year. There is also a nice picnic area there equipped w tables and a grill or two and a nice little playground conventionally located next to the restrooms.
