Death Valley is the must see national park. Here this begins with beautiful sign board. Then you can drive through the artist's drive which is mesmerizing. There are flat dunes and bad water basin which are great. Also you can find the golden canyon and other trails too.
The heat can be intense, especially in the summer, so be prepared with plenty of water 💧 and sun protection ☀️. But even in the extreme conditions, there’s a beauty in the starkness of the landscape that’s unlike anywhere else. Read moreWhat an amazing scenic drive! So many breathtaking views. I spent the night in Alabama Hills and drove from Lone Pine to Death Valley. I hiked Mosaic Canyon and drove to the Death Valley Junction and took the 127 to Baker and hoped on the 15 south.
I definitely recommend booking a campsite at one of the campgrounds in advance...or get to one of the ranger stations before 4 so you can find out where you can camp in the back country.
