Get immersed in nature in this state park. If you are escaping from New York City this park is not a long drive away and has a winning combination of forestry, small lake, and mild elevation gains. There are multiple walking paths so you can definitely customize your day to your party's needs. There is a small parking lot but no restrooms or water. Carry out what you carry in. Not suitable for strollers. Fun for hiking and biking. At the time we were here, it's already full blown fall here, yellow is at this time the dominant color.

Small parking near Knollwood and Twixt Hill road. Great hike with amazing views through the forest. There are several miles of trails to keep you occupied for a while. There is little to no parking near the park unfortunately which may make it hard to visit. Also some of the trails leading away from the park can lead to or near people's backyards, so make sure to watch where you're ending up.

Mountain biking at Seth Low was awesome! Once we got to the top of the first climb we were greeted with an epic slab that was a lot of fun to session. In fact, there were lots of trail side features to play on throughout so keep your eyes peeled. For a complete review of my ride check out my YouTube channel TrailSage.
