The Fleur De Lis Farm — Attraction in Riley Township

Was included in the Marengo & Union Christmas places to shop 2023. First time and last time visit. U pull in and u don't know where to go and park. U circle around a barn and see other smaller little barns and guess where u can park. U get out and all there is is this very very small out building to walk into. Nice people and the aromatherapy smelled nice in that little building. Four people and it's a crowded building. No prices on anything. If I have to ask, I am not buying. Got a pretzel sample that was good. Then there is this cute little trailer they redid and it's selling the same stuff. Very cold inside, again no pricing. The land looks very messy and unkept. It is the end of fall and all things don't look so great. But here they really need to put a lot more love and hard work into the whole area. Not worth going to, save your time...

We stumbled upon a beautiful farm that had a self-serve fresh-cut flower barn. This little barn is chilled to keep the flowers fresh and in water. Anne, the owner, was working around the farm and gave my grandma and me a full tour of this beautiful homestead.

They have a second shop with handmade soaps and elderberry syrup; both made on the farm! They also sell products from other local homesteads like beautiful handmade cards and essential oils.

AND after that, Anne showed us around to the other several barns on the property. They have Ducks and Peacocks! Just an absolutely incredible experience and adventure.

I can't wait till the other flowers grow so we can go back and pick them ourselves.

Side note: It's a farm/homestead so bring boots or don't be scared of dirt if you want to pick...

When Anne and Greg decided to move from the big city of Genoa, IL to buy the Fleur-de-lis farm, they had big dreams and lots of ambition. Clearly they were up to the task to start this new adventure.

Anne has been making the most beautiful smelling soaps & lip balms for years. She continued that when they bought the farm. 🤭

They added flowers to the repertoire & have blessed us with the most beautiful bouquets. Makes me smile every time I receive one.

I took the opportunity to visit the farm, and there's so much to see. One day she gave her peacocks a veggie birthday cake. It was hilarious!
