This trail is a real butt-kicker. I used it as an approach to the A.T. and let me tell you, I was looking forward to curling up and going to bed. The trail is stunning and the view at the top is well worth it. I highly recommend backpacking up to the tentsite, setting up for the night and day hiking to the top, go all the way to the end of the Wright trail, it's absolutely worth it! 360° view in the fall is breathtaking. The trail up to the campsite is pretty overgrown and made me think that the campsite was at the bottom of the hill the for time. Keep going until you see the...

It was a warm partly sunny day. Muddy in some parts and a little icey crossing the water ways. The hike was a steady climb up at parts. Nothing too strenuous. We will definitely be back when the snow is gone. A great day in the...
