Rollins Lake — Attraction in Ripley

This is absolutely gorgeous lake and great place to fish, hike and kayak. Located just a few miles outside of Ripley in small area called Evans. There is plenty of parking areas along the lake edge and lot areas.

The area is FREE to use. The lake is stocked by WV DNR. A Fishing license is required. There is plenty of parking near the Mill Creek where you can slso fish and put in your kayaks to go along the Mill Creek Water Trail

No camping is allowed There are also marked hiking trails. No grills available and no picnic tables. There is a dock. You can put in row boats and kayak in lake but nothing...

Excellent place to do a little fishing. Fish from the banks or bring a boat. Port-a-potty’s available for use.

Very beautiful and well kept, you won’t find a lot of litter or trash. Ample parking at several areas around the lake. Family friendly and you’ll catch some fish too.

Nice place for walks or jogs too if you enjoy lake views and watching ducks or geese on the water. Free family fun, bring some snacks, drinks, your favorite poles and bait and make a day of it!

If you like to catch grass and weeds then this is the best place..even on top water buzz bait..nice size bass but can't get to them cause of the grass..don't believe me, go look and try for yourself..best time is March if you don't want all the grass for bass..after March it's horrible..can't even take a small boat or kayak on it after March...
