If you're looking for a delightful winery experience, Gunpowder Creek Vineyards is a must-visit! The wine here is absolutely delicious, with bottles priced around just $20. My favorite is *Uncle Buds Blackberry Wine* and it completely changed my perspective on wine since I used to hate it entirely! What makes this place even more special are the owners. This lovely older couple does everything themselves, from planting and pruning to weeding, mowing, picking, pressing, and bottling. They are genuinely good people with an impressive wealth of knowledge about the wine industry. They always have good stories to tell and can keep you there all day!

A hidden gem of a spot for wine in Boone County. A wide variety of award winning wines to choose from. Samples are available as well as glasses of wine. Plus, this spot has a really comfortable and friendly atmosphere to sit and drink. The owner/hostess was great to talk to. A lot of great information about the location and their history. Definitely worth the drive down to Rabbit Hash along the Ohio River.

Picked up two bottles of blackberry wine today....so good! The owner was kind enough to share the story of how the business came to be. She was extremely friendly and helpful. We'll be back for more!.....update....we'll be back sooner than expected. My husband and I finished a whole bottle with dinner tonight! Excellent wine.

Aweful! Sign said open, so we went in. Old lady working there was unfriendly and rude. I bought a glass of wine, took a seat with my friends only to be told... "Im getting ready to close up so you guys will have to drink that outside.. " Really??? I would have never bought the glass of wine had I known I would need to drink it out in the 35 degree weather. Never again!!!

I worked at an upscale winery for years, in fact, I ran the place Monday through Friday by myself. I NEVER kicked customers out so I could leave. If they entered before we closed, they were paying customers and I was there to serve them.

I dont care if tgat lady was an owner or employee... When it comes to customer service, you need to get better help!

Im new to this state... I love wine, and you just lost SEVERAL...

I'm a former Northern KY resident now residing in the Atlanta area. I was visiting friends in Northern KY and we took a ride down to the increasingly talked about Rabbit Hash. The General Store has garnered some "historic hidden gem" attention across the country, but I was pleasantly surprised by this small winery location right across from the General Store. What a perfect spot for tasting award winning wines from the state of KY! As amazing as the neat atmosphere the proprietors have created, were their stories of how it all came to be, all within the past decade, including their backgrounds. Their entrepreneurial spirit is quite amazing and admirable. Congratulations,...
