I have only been here once, yesterday, then later discovered this dog park is a covered up landfill. It has weird PVC pipes throughout and a giant pile of mulch in the middle. A few trees at the entrance, otherwise open space on about 5 acres of land. As of 2019, you can obtain a permit by licensing your dog, if you're within city limits. If not, you must pay a fee. Only downside is there's no water there so bring your own and there's no dedicated walking path which would be really nice. They do mow down some paths but they're not perfect, I almost twisted an ankle in a hole so...
