I had a good time with my family I won’t lie to you guys we went Saturday October 25 around 5:40 almost 6 we ended up leaving almost close to 9pm when we were on the way home not even 5 minutes away from Dutch hallows we got hit by a drunk driver we were in small traffic waiting to go and he completely smashed our car that we hit the car in front of us really hard and there was a good amount of space in between . I had my 2 kids in the car 4 months and 1 year old and my spouse it was pure chaos and very traumatic for myself as a person / Mom and to see my children react that way all over a person who was so selfish to get on the road . To my family’s who read this or groups of people going with kids Please go at a good time and leave when sun is still shining or going down the road is very dark there at night and it was a weekend during these times I know people want to enjoy but of course with caution . Now my family has no car to get around have to replace car seats and deal with trauma that who knows when will heal . This is just to inform and spread awareness of the situations I never thought in a million years I would get into a accident with my kids in the car . All...
Read moreWow this place changed. Not in a good way. A couple years ago , this was truly a great little pumpkin patch to take very young children.... Dont know who decided that adding in a dinky "tactor hay ride " would make previously free activities worth something. Literally a corn box and hay bails to run arond shouldnt be a fee... And the "petting zoo" was actualling ridiculous. All you can do is look at these animals... Which was free a couple years ago... But now its called a petting zoo and is included in the fee... Btw, the bunny sitting in a tiny cage on the ground is pretty infuriating to call a petting zoo animal... Not to mention the rude people opperating the facility who speak to you like youre stupid... Because they dont have any signs indicating where to go to pay for the "attractions". I get it... A corn maze and tractor ride could be deemed fee worthy.. But trying to be greedy and rude for lame side activities is insane. Once you amp up like Deloso farms , i could understand the entrance fee ect. But its a small farm whose trying to get a bigger taste for capitalism... Charging for less than spectacular product. Cool. Never...
Read moreI took my family here last night to pick a few pumpkins, I didn't pay much attention to price becuase I'd seen reviews online saying they had "fair" pricing. Towards the end we passed a worker and I'd asked for the average pumpkin cost and she said anywhere from $4 for the smallest ones up to $25 for the larger ones. According to their chart, it was going to be about $60 for the (4) that we picked and they weren't anything special. At that piont my 9yr old daughter said you know Dad, Savemart has them for way cheaper. We went across the street to Savemart and bought (4) identical size but better looking pumpkins for about $12 total no joke. They have a (3) for $9 deal going on. (Larger pumpkins going fast!) Dutch Hollow, I didn't do a whole lot of walking around but based on this, I'm guessing the whole place is a rip off. If you have money to burn, check out Delosso Farms. $18 wrist band you get a haunted house, miles and miles of cleaner better kept corn mazes, pig races, mega slides, jungle gyms, hay rides, apple blasters, etc. Better bang...
