Tara Stadium — Attraction in Riverdale

What a great game! Jonesboro High School played Banneker High School. My son is in JHS band and that is why I was there. The band has a following and the football game is usually in the background. But not this game. When I arrived the score was JHS 14 to 7 in the first quarter. In the second quarter JHS scored another TD. 21 to 7. First play of the third quarter BHS scored on a 70 something yard TD pass. But JHS came back with an 80 something yard kick return. BHS scored on a 4th and 16 yard pass. JHS tried to give the game away with three straight turnovers in their own red zone! The game came down to four plays starting on JHS 3 yard line! JHS stopped them all four times with over one minute on the clock and BHS with no time outs. Best games I've seen in years! And by the way JHS band out preformed BHS band 56 to 0! LOL... Have a...

Overall the stadium was adequate. However, I found that the stadium has challenges with safe distancing. The seatings are too close and not regulated. There is ample parking and even has a sufficient amount of handicap parking. For those not used to walking up and down the stadium stairs, be careful. Handicap seating is sufficient but does not have access to lower seats towards the field. For events, you can feel safe because law enforcement is visible. The grade for this place would be a 6.5.
