Its a great park. Basically has everything you could want in a city park. Expansive open grassy areas, baseball and basketball areas, a snack bar during weekday days and certain events on weekends. Large playground area with sections for the littles and the bigs. A nice, well kept beach volleyball court/area as well as decently kept public bathrooms and lots of seating for parents and even a nice water play area that is typically open from end of May until beginning of September (but this year has extended dates so is still open into the second week of Oct., yeah!). The nicest thing about this park is that its between communities so it connects the East side with Canyon Crest. There is a ton of parking, including many disabled spots, so parking is never an issue. Another nice thing is the restrooms are a lot better than some other parks especially given that they are shared by the park folks, the tennis lessons/courts patrons folks, the baseball fields for a variety of games (although I think during baseball season they bring in additional portable toilets), basketball area (which is VERY busy nights and weekends) but also folks who come to use the mile long sidewalk course 24/7. Its really a nice park and given the location its convenient enough that no matter where you are in Riverside, unless you're on the outskirts, its no more than 15 minutes away. And there is a bus stop going both directions conveniently right outside at the sidewalk and just across the sidewalk on the opposite side of the street (I believe for the opposite direction, not 100%) so you're set to get to this park even if you don't drive. There is really only one downside and that is there is almost no shady areas to sit, even on the grassy areas if you bring a blanket. So when its 108° out in the middle of summer (or who are we kidding basically anytime between late March and early December-- its Riverside after all lol) it can be a little relentless for the parents or children's supervision folks, etc. But with that said, its pretty easy to bring a few umbrellas and/or little easy up shelters because there's enough space for 10 football teams to set up almost anywhere. Highly recommend especially for gatherings or kids get togethers. But my kids LOVE this park, especially the water feature area for the littles or those who don't want to change the public pools...
Read more5 out of 5 stars! This park is beautiful, all around. It is beautifully landscaped, spacious fields, andhas a beautifully placed and attractive playground, and a clean restroom building, both inside and out. The parking lot was an appropriate size for the size of the park. It was large but perfect for the flow of people the part gets every day. The bathrooms were spacious and tidy, All Things Considered. Everyone seemed to be smiling, talkative and cheery. This Park gives off Good Vibes and gives any person there a sense of peace and general well-being. It is particularly beautiful early in the morning and at dusk. I highly recommend this park, especially if you have dogs or small children. It is also a perfect park for the elderly. I guess, this park is just perfect for everyone and anyone! Thank you and Andulka Park...
Read moreThis park is in a good neighborhood. It is well maintained, and I often meet nice new people. The kids love this park. There are two playgrounds. One for preschool age children, and the other for elementary age and up. The water feature works really well. There is lots of available spots for parents to sit, and watch their kids play. The water feature is available from memorial day to labor day. The feature is off during the colder times of the year. To conserve water. There are lots of trees to sit under, two baseball diamonds to play on, basketball courts, sand volleyball with a net, and a cement path that goes around the entire perimeter of the park. The path is accessible for anyone to enjoy a walk. It is the nicest park in 10 square miles. I highly...
