My sister's and I were passing through and needed a break. This has to be one of those hidden gems that I hope more discover! It's the best reuse of a community building that I have ever seen. It's become a cultural center with so many wonderful things to see. Artist and crafters there's several class rooms for events and interesting classes. There's tons of interesting history about the native Americans that lived in this region. And a gift store with so much art that it's probably not correct to call it a gift store...    Read moreMeeting rooms, auditorium, local artisans gift shop this place has much to delight. We attended a cooking demonstration. There was counter space facing the audience for four cooks to work at once, a good oven, microwave and lots of other equipment. The auditorium had seating for about 200 had the gift shop displayed pottery, art, photography, jewelry, hand carved wood pieces and so much more. There is a greeter/salesperson who knows the artists and their work. Outside are shaded tables for picnics and playground equipment.
