This place is excellent. Beautiful. You're gonna want to park at Old 82 trailhead in my opinion. It's a closed down highway which is now a graffiti highway which is quite cool as well. It leads to the trailhead going up to the Birdsboro Reservoir. The trail is nice, not difficult. Can get soupy at parts after the rain FYI . But the reservoir itself is a little slice of heaven. It's entirely pine-lined so it's all evergreens around the water. The reservoir perimeter trail is just excellent, including the very cool dam structure with walkable stone spillways. I walked around it a few times and just took in the nature. I think this place is worth the trip, especially if you're already in the area for French Creek or something. But Birdsboro Preserve is worth the 1hr drive from Philadelphia alone in my opinion.

Great climbing area. Have come here several times and am already hooked. Only sport routes set for face climbing (no trad). Good variety of routes set (over 100 routes set and climbing). Everything from slabby 5.5 with a class 4 top out to multi-pitch, overhung 5.13. Be aware that this was worked rock face (was a quarry in a prior life) so the conditions are chossy in many spots. There are a couple of ground level "top" anchors for training and the walls can be 30' to 100'+.

This is one of the most perfect places to go running, ride horses, get away in nature. It takes some time to learn all of the trails and where each one ends up. (Took me a few years, and I still find some new ones). There is some unfortunate, inappropriate graffiti on the ground, but only close to the parking lot. The trails make up for that, hands down.
