Connor Bayou — Attraction in Robinson Township

Set on the Grand River, the grounds are picturesque. There is a very nice cabin is beautiful and we'll laid out for Graduations, weddings, etc. I have rented it, and have been to other's events here. The lower level is wheelchair friendly and there are restrooms on both main floor and lower level. The kitchen is large and roomy and overlooks the river. I would have given it a 5 star rating if not for two reasons. 1. It is rather hard to find (Plan on having signs and balloons to direct guests.) 2. The park ranger has been rude and off-putting to renters and guests in my every experience here. Otherwise I think this place would be a far more utilized gem in...

This is a genuinely beautiful park, even for Ottawa County where all the parks are great. There are several well-marked trails, lookout decks, a canoe and kayak launch built with handicap access, and a fishing pier.

Some of the trails are rustic but all are nice. There's also a handicap-accessible pit toilet, picnic and reast areas, and a rentable lodge.

Well worth the little drive off the beaten path, Conner Bayou County Park...

Great Park. One of the trails is flooded and impassable but all the other trails are very nice. Great spot to find mushrooms and see birds. The dock is a good bass fishing spot and there is a kayak launch with a rolling cart so you don't have to carry your yak. The cabin, although I haven't been inside, is affordable and extremely nice looking outside and through the windows. An awesome little...
