Cherry Valley Skatepark — Attraction in Rockford Township

Weather has gotten the best of this park. The best section has been under repairs for two summers now. Layout of park has always been wonky and doesn't flow well. Placement of features kinda works for some lines and makes no sense at all for others. Hope to see it back and fully repaired soon. When that happens I'd give it three stars because it's a fun and challenging place to ride with some unique features. Unfortunately the flow is a bit weird and half of park is under reconstruction...

Used frequently by kids to adults.This day there are 17+ kids as well as teenagers here sporting scooters bikes and skateboards.Also nice view of sunset as it seems a popular time to be here.Bring drinks and food as there are picnic tables and plenty of parking.Pretty sure alcohol is not allowed on premises. Amazingly it's pretty clean.I will be asking to find out if labor and or donations are important to keep this attraction up and running. I've found out bringing a case of water for 4 dollars is a nice way to keep the kids hydrated and help the kids make a few friends...
