This is a beautiful park. The lake offers a unique "wakeboarding" experience, and there are 2 playgrounds, one larger and a smaller one for the littles, as well as several shelters for gatherings. Also several open picnic areas with grills and tables. We had a nice time for my grandsons birthday there and they occasionally offer free live music shows in the summer. Nice day for a drive to watch the zip line surfers! The lake area was clean and we'll maintained. Picnic tables are out and set up nicely throughout the park. Grounds were pristine and we'll groomed. No one was swimming, but a section of the lake was secured for swimmers. Music was playing on loud speakers. We didn't use rest room so...

Attended the talent show / concert at Levings Lake Park last night, Aug 21,2022. Beautiful setting near the lake. Big happy crowd. Fun talent show followed by a great performance by Soul Review. I talked to a park district staffer who told me there is going to be a permanent bandshell for next season. Definitely plan on...
