This is a beautiful, serene, well-marked trail. What's not so beautiful are all of the folks who allow their dogs off-leash despite all of the signs ordering the opposite. Some people are afraid of dogs and seeing an unleashed one could ruin their hike. Or...you could be like me and have a leashed dog who is going to react to an unleashed one...especially if said dog comes close. Also the chandeliers and grand staircase inside this venue gives it a classic elegant and royal look. It is a very spacious venue! There is also a piano there as well. And to m surprise, the landscape remained close to what it had been decades before,and only because of those who have donated their time and resources to preserve and maintain it.
