Be sure to check road conditions before you leave. Otherwise, the roads are fun and the trip is scenic; Texas at its finest.

For Texas roads, it's definitely more fun than most. It doesn't hold a candle to Appalachian roads or some other places around the country. 336 has cattle guards quite often, so that isn't great for pushing it.

Great ride for cruiser type bikes, so so ride and not challenging at all for sport bike - canyon riders. Kind of boring. It’s no Palomar South grade, it’s no Ortega Highway or Tail of the dragon. It’s uneven bumpy roads, grippy yes, but not sport bike...
