Very nice park with a few trails that are definitely worth hiking down. Difficulty at a very minimum rating though there is some spots with a rocky trail that maybe could swish an ankle if not paying attention. One can see how the town gets its name in this park with giant rocks all throughout the forested areas. Worth the hour drive we took there and the dogs loved it to.

Beautiful area with well groomed trails! A good variety of flat open land, well wooded areas, as well as hills and rocks to climb. Great little creek that flows into the Sauk river. Eagle nests and deer are some of the few things to spot. I’ve spent many years shooting photography in this park and have never left disappointed!

Wooded area with hilly hiking trails, large granite rocks, ferns and slightly rugged terrain off-trail. Near the Sauk River and Eagle Park. Peaceful, feels more secluded than it is, with deer and other wildlife. Gravel parking lot with porta-potties.

I just love it. I love the trail that parallels the river and the fact that there are huge boulders, flat and not, that you can climb on or tan on or fish from...ect. The spot with the fire pit is one of my favorites. AND it's right down the rd, 1/4 mile or less, from Eagle Park. The trails are kept up, decently wide. It's a beautiful area all around! Worth...
