Henry's Woods Park — Attraction in Rogers

Nice, quiet, secluded and a wonderful place to walk in the woods until some unwanted companies came and attacked us. Bug nets over our large brim hats were considered an inconvenient challenge to the mosquitoes and they became more aggressive. Walking faster invoked their prey drive. Swatting them triggered large scale attacks and they summoned reinforcement from the entire Anoka County. In the end our spirit was depleted and we decided to retreat to the protection of our car where we could lick our chops in total defeat. Very cool place!!

I was driving by this and I noticed the red building, so I turned my vehicle around and got out. Fortunately I had my camera with me so I decided to take a few photos while I was there.

I stumbled across Henry's Woods Park while out on a run. Tucked away just outside of Rogers, you wouldn't even know it's there unless someone told you about it or you stumbled across it! Really pretty garden and lawn with a rustic barn as well as easy walking trails. A popular spot for photos, it's easy to see why.
