This is obviously a beautiful creekside park, although I've now heard of four smash-and-grabs in the span of a month on vehicles parked in the parking lot there, including my own wheelchair accessible ramp-van, and including ANOTHER wheelchair accessible ramp-van a few weeks ago, if you can believe that. My advice if you are considering a visit to this park, avoid this place or clean it up. PERSONAL MESSAGE TO THE MILL BRIDGE THIEF -- If you are the one who smashed the driver side window out of a Black 2009 Toyota Sienna wheelchair accessible ramp-van and took the green bag out of my driver seat, you owe me $1000.00 for: the new window, the labor to clean inside the vehicle door and install the new window, and for a day's missed wages. I don't know if you think all disabled people are living on easy street, or if you are just a fatherless wastrel, or what. Anyway there wasn't diddly squat inside that green bag was there? Please arrange for a cashier's check made out to me, in the amount of $1000.00 as specified above, to be mailed or delivered to Officer Langston of the Rolesville Police Department, anonymously if you must, and I'll consider our business settled. But you and I both know that the real business you need to attend to is between you and God. Good...
Read moreI love this park! It is gorgeous and one of my happy places. The creek and waterfalls are a short distance down the greenway from the parking lot. You can walk along the creek on the footpath. It's beautiful during all four seasons. And if you enjoy longer walks or runs, it also connects to Sanford Creek & Smith Creek Greenways. Safety note: Please be sure to lock valuables in the glove box or in your trunk. There have been some car break-ins. Keep purses, etc out of sight...
Read moreBeautiful park full of loads of path ways to choose from. When you drive to the entrance which is like a hidden gem awaits you, there is a beautiful path takes you to the parking lot. Love how there are different areas where you can enter to the park specifically if you live near the park. When walking, we saw a police officer driving around in golf carts making sure people are hydrated asking if they need water. Easy to get lost,...
