So I hate to leave reviews but this was uncalled for my kids and I walked in paid to get in and changed out clothes in the bathroom when we came out everyone was staring we put away our stuff got all organized and not once was told anything but as soon as we get into the pool was told we need to leave I asked why and they said because one of the girls bathing suit isn't allowed she had regular swim shorts and a swim shirt she doesn't feel comfortable in bikinis or swimsuits showing so she likes to be covered and we got out calmly and I asked for my refund and she told me no I can't even though there isn't signs saying anything about no refunds and I asked why since we just got in and we're told to leave she said well her suit isn't permitted I said yes I understand that and it's why we are leaving but I should get the money back since we spent a total of a min inside the water. During these times where money is tight expecially going places with kids it's extremely upsetting that they clearly we didn't get anytime there. Like the right thing to do would be to give the money back we calmly left and walked to the splash pad next to the park and then were watched the entire time and in the splash pad were toms of kids in normal clothes even. We felt so uncomfortable and just left. There was plenty of time expecially when everyone waited to tell us anything until we were in the pool. The whole time everyone staring at us wasn't told anything .A total waste I get it's only 20 dollars but for us it was gas and food the whole day out was wrapped around going to the pool. I feel like they care more about their money than the people. I honestly would have been a returning a lot this summer but most...
Read moreLove the park with all it's shady areas during the summer. There are so many benches to sit on around the park so one can be near their children to keep a watchful eye on them. And the water park is wonderful. They clean the filter daily, I'm told by the maintenance guy and have seen the guy cleaning the filters after seeing the water spouts not shooting as high as they should be. I would rate this park a five star if the pathways were cleared out and made safe to walk through as they use to be a few years ago when I use to take our grandchildren hiking through them up and down the hills and climbing over the large fallen trees. Then we would walk down through the clean pretty white sandy beaches to wade and play in the creek. Over the last two or three years the wooded paths have become so run down they are no longer safe and the beaches are so dirty. If these two things were able to be corrected so we could once again enjoy the wooded pathways and walk along a pretty white sandy beach I would give Roman Forest park a five star rating. Oh, also love the...
Read moreWe love the splash pad! The kids have a lot of fun. Our only issue was with the pool, it’s open to the public. Two of my girls were wearing sports clothes, which is what we were told(in the past) was ok to enter the pool. Today we are here and they DID NOT LET MY GIRLS ENTER THE POOL!!! There was other people in the pool with sports clothes. And another guy with “sport shirt and shirts. One of the life guards claimed the lady was wearing a bathing suit! It was clearly a sports tank top. We are Hispanic and there was only white people in the pool and only white life guards. Not a racial problem...
