Watson falls was absolutely spectacular! Easy to find with well marked trail head that offers ample parking and clean bathrooms. The trail head has great picnic areas completely shaded by the creek. The hike is beautiful with moss covered rocks and shaded trails. Lots of spots to rest if needed. The trail is moderate difficulty and takes about 20 min to get to the falls. I stopped and admired all the scenery and still got up pretty fast. You can see the falls in lots of spots threw the trees on your way up which motivated me to keep going. Once at the falls you can literally walk right up to them. The microclimate is out of this world with luch green plant life everywhere. The falls were raging and this was August. This place is just magical and you must make it to see some of the most majestic scenery Oregon...

This was recommended to us by the front desk at a nearby RV park as an alternative to Toketee.

Whilst the restrooms had not been cleaned in a very long time.....the walk and waterfall itself were fantastic.

It's a fairly steep incline up to the falls, but the payoff was well worth it. You felt the spray off the falls from the viewing platform which was nice.

We arrived around 8am the day after Thanksgiving and we're the only people there. The whole family enjoyed it, we have 3 kids...

Absolutely stunning atmosphere and views! While hiking the 1/4 mile well maintained trail to the falls, the trail crisscrosses the creek and shows many views that are outstanding. But before you get to the top the view of the falls opens up from above. That's the photo I've uploaded first. Well worth the drive plus many other falls to see along this route. Going during the spring there's many wild flowers and the HEAVY mist from the falls is an...

This trail goes straight up, plan to spend an hour here if you are headed to the base of the falls, and you should. There is a picnic area, pit toilet and the trail is in great shape. I saw some great wildflowers on the way up, Trillium and fairy slipper. The thunder of the waves of water crashing at the base is amazing. You could save a tenth to 2 tenths of a mile on your hike if you parked next to the trail where it crosses the road.
