I love this park, not only because my dogs told me ;) it was their favorite compared to others we frequent with pet friendly amenities in the area, but also because the restrooms are generally pretty clean & centrally located.
The walking path is mostly shaded & has swinging benches with serene views of a lake and small pier you can go on. Read moreWent to the dog park and I wish people would be more responsible. Many people don’t pick up after their dogs. In addition if you go during the week during the early afternoon you’re likely to find people who can’t seem to control their dogs or who will ruin your experience by how poorly they treat their dogs. The park itself is nice, there’s a hose and a dog fountain for water. 50/50 shot on whether it has stocked baggies but you’d like to think people come prepared. The old metal merry go round and slide has been replaced with safe, brightly colored playsets for kids big and small. They have also considered developmental needs by including a special swing, seesaw, and other activities. All of this is fenced in.
