Nice hike with great 360 views at the summit. Went up the Orange trail (Iles Trail). Some moderately steep sections but generally a steady, manageable hike to the summit. Went down the Yellow trail. Some fairly steep spots and some flat rock sections that could be slippery if wet, but overall very manageable. Total distance was around 6 miles. There is a port-a-potty at the parking lot. Parking lot is across from the trailhead so be careful when crossing. Parking lot was pretty full by 9:00am on a Sunday when I went. Plenty of roadside...

You simply can't go wrong with doing a six mile hiking loop here. The elevation is gradual and totally doable if you're in decent shape and the views from the top are simply stunning. One of the few places that has beautiful 360 degree views. For cooler weather layers and wind breaker / rain...

This was our first summit hike since moving from Central Oregon. Different in a good way, especially being surrounded in a green canopy of the trees and the lower elevation made breathing easier for myself being 74 years old. Lots of Blueberries to pick on the way up and the view from the top was...
