Gorgeous walk any time of year. Lots of wildlife, including birds, turtles, salamanders, beavers, and dragonflies. If you’re lucky, the hut will be open and you can see a lot of natural history items from the area with lots of information including pictures, skulls bones, turtle shells, and a lot of interesting reading materials, it doesn’t take very long to walk around and there are plenty of benches to take a break on. There are a couple of very long bridges and one of them is pretty shaky so beware that you might want to hold the little ones hands as you walk across. Keep in mind that, because it is a natural wetland area the leaves tend to turn earlier than the rest of the town. Dogs on leash are welcome! Donations appreciated. Take a walk and enjoy this beautiful place you...

This is a very serene bog and pristine piece of nature that has countless species of wildlife and even different unique plants that are in the area when the center is open you can learn a lot there from the footage and documents that they have overall it's a great location to check out and it's just really nice to visit I would definitely just going hopefully when the center is open but even without there's plenty to see and explore it's not going to take hours on end even going slow the whole loop might be an hour but that's again going slow though if you grab a guidebook you can take a look learn and slow that...

A lovely place to stop if you're on the way to the white mountains. This area is a nature preserve managed in part by The Nature Conservancy. It is a large bog with a trail around it. There are many areas with wooden platforms built above the bog and one long suspension bridge. You will find benches around the trail and lots of flora. I did not see any animals today but animals, including moose, can be spotted in the dajw or dusk according to park interpreters.

"Pinecone" Steve the interpretor shared a lot of history and information as well!

Please note! There is no broken glass on the trails. This is...

Hidden gem for getting up close with nature. We spent about 1.5 hours and took a rest on a bench that had a clear view of the area. I recommend shoes you don't mind getting muddy especially in the spring or bring an extra pair. Parking is mostly on street in a neighborhood. To avoid bugs I recommend going in the spring. Will have to check out the nature center when they open for the season the next time we come. We saw a lot of ducks, geese and turtles. The floating bridge is fun challenge and hopefully you won't fall off. Very peaceful

It's magical! I can't believe I hadn't been here before. Now that I know where it is, and what a wonderful little area it is I will be coming back! The trails are well marked, everyone was courteous with their leashed dogs. The pictures don't do it justice. It's beautiful, and there is so much life to see! I'm not a hiker and the walk was easy for me. You may get your shoes wet, so prepare accordingly. It's free to go!
