This was my first time getting a piercing (I’m 16,) and it definitely was a let down. To begin with, he asked what jewelry I wanted and I showed him & after this I told him I also wanted a surface bar not a curved bar. After he prepped everything and was about to begin my mom pointed out he had a curved bar in his hand to use. I don’t exactly remember everything said, but I asked him if he’s sure I couldn’t use a surface bar and he said yes. I researched quite a bit before going in to get the anti-eyebrow and every video said not to use a curved bar since it’s more prone to rejection and etc. Though of course he is the piecer with the experience not me, so i went ahead with letting him use the curved bar. Now this could have been just simple miscommunication because I’m very shy and get flustered easily- I couldn’t think properly and said straight bar at one point and then said staple bar after when “confronting” him since I couldn’t remember exactly what it was called due to anxiety. Even as I was saying straight/stable bar though, I’m sure he could have inferred what I really meant when I said staple bar since a surface bar literally just looks like a staple. About a month in I noticed it already rejecting, of course that’s normal for an anti-eyebrow, but I felt this was way too soon seeing as how I barely even got it & I believe with the right jewelry it would have lasted longer. I called & went to multiple other piercing shops and they all agreed he used the wrong jewelry. Apart from him giving me the wrong jewelry, it was also uncomfortable. He did not speak but a couple times in the beginning when I first came in and he did not even give a count down or say anything whilst putting in the piercing. He didn’t explain any procedure, but he did say what to use to clean it after he had put in the jewelry. And again this is my first piercing so maybe that is completely normal! But when I went with my girlfriend to get her piercing, the piecer (this was at a different piercing shop) explained everything he was doing and showed/explained everything he was doing/going to do. They do have very loving cats though so I enjoyed that very much within all the silence there was. I’m sure Mike is a great piercer like most of the reviews say, I just think he was a bit uneducated when it came to the proper jewelry to use for an anti-eyebrow seeing as how he was going to use a curved bar from the beginning and every other piercer I talked to after was shocked he used a curved bar instead...
Read moreI got my cartilage pierced (two at a time on my left ear) here a few months shy of a year ago and they healed very quickly, no problems at all!! It was quick, professional and nearly painless! Mike was very comforting (I'm not needle shy, and I have a pretty good tolerance for pain, but still.. It's a needle going into my ear.) It was overall just a very awesome experience! Me and my sister go in here for jewelry all the time, too! Karla is awesome as well! She's even made some custom belly rings for my sister! Super clean and...
Read moreThis is the only place that I will go to get a piercing! Mike is very professional and know exactly what he is doing. This location is always very clean and sanitary. I have been to other places that do tattoos and piercing but none of them are specialized in piercings like Mike is. I send all of my friends here and it is the only place that I will go. Personally I have gotten four piercings here and have never...
