I went here recently to hobby lobby not realizing it was minutes til closing.. When they announced it on the store i hurried to decide on my purchase but upon reaching the register to check out i decided to not make the purchase due to it wasnt quite what i had wanted.. I left all the items and left the store and began walking towards my car where my husband was waiting for me. As soon as i got out the store i had numerous employees yell at me accusing me of stealing and threatening to call police in front of other people who were shopping there as well. I was horiffied and completely humiliated and then told the manager who also came out to scream threats of police and accusations saying i was a thief. I told them if they wanted to look in my handbag to see i didnt steal anything they could and even offered tol call authorities myself if it would help. All the employees and manager went inside the store and i stood in the parking lot waiting for the situation to be resolved. An employee came out and apologized over and over saying an employee wrongfully identified me as a shoplifter mistaking me for a different customer that she saw steal merchandise. The employee at this time informed me that the manager was on the store calling HR to let them know of the incident and told me he was scared to come and apologize to me.. The employee went to get the manager and when he came out he offered to give me the items i didnt purchase for free and i told him i didnt buy them because i didnt want them. And even if i had wanted them i sud not come to the store with any intentions of leaving with items without purchasing them and told him i didnt want them. He then insisted on giving me a gift card for the misunderstanding which i took only so i could get out of there because there were several cars of bystanders watching this entire humiliating interactions take place at a business i spend a lot of money at as i am getting married and have decided to diy most of the decor and favors for my wedding. I live in this community and i also have my own lawn service business and i work in that area often and had actually seen one of my clients shopping there on the night this all transpired. I was humiliated in so many ways and it was the worst shopping...
Read moreIt started out awful from the moment I pulled into the parking lot. Upon parking in the handicap space in front of the restaurant I noticed trash everywhere and missing pieces of the masonry off the building laying on the ground. I proceeded to go inside to be seated. There is nobody in the restaurant but me and the host try to sit me down in a booth that had absolutely torn seats on both sides. I had to look at him and ask him if he was kidding he looked at me bewildered. I said to him are you kidding me I can't sit in those torn seats. Where I ordered my breakfast from there. I ordered the biscuits and gravy which after taking one bite I had to return because the biscuits were so hard. The waitress took my food back and said that they were going to make me a new plate. I said okay. When the plate arrived it was half the order and the biscuits were still hard. I will never return to this location ever again. I am a huge fan of black bear but I'll never come to this...
Read moreThe food was okay. Not as good as we normally have gotten at other Black Bear Diners. I ordered a BLT. One half(on bread that I was never offered a choice on) had a sliver of a slice of tomato and lots of lettuce. No bacon. Figured my ingredients were on the other half. Well, the rest of my tiny slice of tomato was there. Along with 2 slices of bacon folded in half and the rest of the head of lettuce. We also asked for lots of ranch for Dippin. 3 of us shared 4 small cups. Ill stick to the Black Bear Diner off Florin and the other in Redding. Those places are amazing and have amazing employees. This one needs to up its game! Still tasted great! Waitress was...
