This park is a hidden gem in our area!
Sorry I did not grab any generic photos.
This was our first visit for a kids Birthday Party today. The park was fairly lenient as they allowed a pony and small petting farm setup for the party.
The park appears small from the road but actually has some depth with scattered pavilions, play equipment, lots of shade trees, a half court for basket ball, newer looking tennis courts, wall ball areas, a rustic wooded trail and a creek in the back.
The kids enjoyed the visiting the various playground areas and running through the shade trees. The pavilions were nice with metal picnic tables and convenient to a clean bathroom. My only complaints are the red aunt hills and various tree limbs. There was a rather large fallen limb from a diseased tree, it makes you nervous with the kids running around that they could get hurt while running or that the trees may need arboring to ensure no additional limbs come down.
All in all we will return to play...

While not a very large park in the open areas, there are trails behind that are a wonderful, if short, walk through nature.
The parking lots are spots immediately off the main road, as well as a lot on the right side, while facing the park from the road. Moving left from the larger parking lot, there is a basketball court, pretty standard and is most of the time in use when we are there. Pavilion immediately after, followed by a rock climbing pillar and the main playground set with swings a healthy distance after. Most all of this is immediately visible from the road.
Metal dome climber towards the forested area is a classic, and we always have a good time there, next is another 2 smaller swing sets and...
Read moreDuring our morning break, my son & I try to find a quiet spot where we can relax & play games on our phones and perhaps chat. We ran across this little park (actually quite big). It's spread out into 3 separate areas w/ each area having its parking lot. We of course tried all 3 areas. Each one is the same peaceful, with no activity (or very little), and very enjoyable. The maintenance people come by every a.m. to empty the trash & pick up the excess trash on the ground. Oh, and open the bathrooms. YES, YES you heard me right, they have bathrooms! It is a MUST for anyone who enjoys their...
