La Union Civica Mexicana — Attraction in Saginaw

I would not recommend going here for their dinners unless you have at least an extra 45 minutes to sit and wait.

I used to ABSOLUTELY love getting patito dinners when they would have the sales. The last 4 times I've attempted to order.... I had to wait 45+minutes AFTER getting to the hall despite the fact that I called ahead to order my dinners to be ready at a specific time (10-20 minute wait, I would have been fine)

I've also attempted the online ordering that they have, gotten confirmation emails that my order was received and my order would be ready at specified time.... I get there, no one answers the number that the email specifies to call... call another number listed on the website, and get told they aren't taking online orders, only orders over the phone.... I tell them what if like, it's going to be 30 minutes or more....

What is the point of having online ordering or even call ahead ordering if you are still going to have to wait 45+ minutes. Okay, it's made fresh... GREAT... but if I call at 2:15p to order 5 dinners and tell you that I'm on my way at that moment... why are you not even starting to make my dinners till I get there??? The whole point of calling ahead is so you don't have to sit and wait... you have s schedule and don't have time to just sit there.

The food is delicious, but the unorganized way things are run doesn't make...

Honestly these are the BEST Patitos in Saginaw!! Recently, I found the flyer on a FB sale site and I posted it in our office and let them know that I would be placing an order on Friday. Long story short ~ EVERYONE who ordered (& that’s all 12 who ordered) LOVED, LOVED, LOVED their Patito Dinner. They were all very satisfied & very full 🙂!! And!!! I received emails asking when will I be placing another lunch order & another said We need to do this on a monthly basis, for sure!!! I had co-workers coming up to me who said, “I heard that everyone really enjoyed their dinners today—let me know when you’re going to order lunch again, I want to order too!” And!!! for those who passed on placing an order that day ... well... after hearing all of the raving throughout the office and of course that amazing aroma of our Patitos... well they all wished they had ordered too!! Great place to go to with live bands and always such a great atmosphere and needless to say their food is delicious but most of all, getting to see friends we grew up with. Can't leave Larry Rodarte out. He does an awesome job all the time and to his members who always do such a great job in decorating the hall for any occasion. Keep the good work going guys. You got...
