Alright, folks, here’s the deal. If you’re stuck in this little town, the park is pretty much your only option. But hey, it’s not bad.

The view of the lake? I’ll admit, it’s pretty nice. The sunsets? Sure, they’re worth sticking around for. Can’t see Canada, but honestly, who’s losing sleep over that?

Now, if you’re thinking about taking a dip in that water, do yourself a favor and don’t. It’s basically a giant petri dish. But the flowers are pretty, so there’s that.

They’ve got volleyball and basketball courts if you feel like pretending to be athletic. And guess what? No meth heads. That's right, it's a meth-head-free zone.

Now, let’s talk about the locals. You're gonna run into the kind of backwoods crowd that thinks bull balls on their trucks are peak fashion. These folks fly Trump flags from their truck beds, race their boats in the bay like they’re training for the redneck Olympics, and go mudding in their trucks every chance they get. So as you can imagine, you’ll run into some characters!

Grab an ice cream, take a walk on the boardwalk, and bring your dog. Leave your kids at home, there’s already too many of those out there. There are benches where you can park yourself and watch the world go by. It’s not paradise, but for this town, it’s as...

As I approached the sidewalk there was a sign that read "Do not use chalk on sidewalk." The playground was blocked off. (Social distancing) I went and sat on a bench by the water and ate a bagel. I walked back towards my car to get my jacket and make a phone call, I get to my car and see glass on the ground, I look up and notice it's my driver's side window. Someone tried to pry my car door open then ended up smashing in my window to get my wallet and purse. I asked the groundskeeper if he saw anyone or heard anything and he said no and informed me that there are no cameras here. The groundskeeper gentleman was exceptionally helpful. He went out of his way to try and help me out. I can see how this area would get smelly by the water. It seemed very nice when I first got there but then it got real bad real fast. I guess I'm writing this review to let people know to be EXTRA viligant in this area since there are no cameras to help catch...

I don't usually frequent this place much due to the water quality and the stench, nor do I let my kids swim there either but when I went last week it was nice and there was ppl swimming and it didn't smell. It was nice to actually be able to sure there and relax. The only complaint I had was the amount of ant and any hills. Granted I know they can't be eliminated but this was Overkill in the spot I was sitting in. I literally got bit 7 times and 3 we're pretty bad bites for being an ant. Other than that mishap it was an okay sort of day visiting the park. Not sure if I will be back though, well at least this summer. This is usually the time when the blue/green algae starts and the...

This park has come a long way over the last handful of years. It's lovely to enjoy how much hard work goes into making this space as clean and inviting as possible all year long. The bay is a bummer in the summertime because of the unfortunate cyanobacteria issue which can NOT be helped. Enjoy the lovely walking path, the playground and the farmers market with the best local creemee around from the Bay Store.

The Bay is beautiful and clean. The walking path is peaceful and relaxing. Picnic tables and grills in the shade. The playground is nice for the littles. Basketball court, baseball field, and volleyball too! There is a creamy stand across the street and the bay restaurant with outside seating, perfect for taking in the gorgeous views.
