Family Church — Attraction in Saint Augustine

I was able to attend The Family Worship Center when we lived in St. Augustine. We attend church from the old churchand now the new church. We were fortunate to live next to Pastor Phil and his family and was able to see them and get to know them personally. I can honestly say that Pastor Phil and his family practiced what they preached! Pastors Mom and Dad are also great people as well! I have learned more about my walk of faith through Pastor Phil's sermons and by his leading by example which is always been a Blessing.

Today my family and I still attend online. We live in Debary Florida and the drive is too far and now watch online and enjoy the teachings of God's word. The FWC is our church and love it! It is no nonsense delivery of God's message by Pastor Phil that keeps us connected to God. At timesthe wordsfrom Pastor Phil hit me right the gut!! This is what keeps me grounded with God. We may not like to hear the truth on How sometimes stray from God's word but, Pastor Phil always gives us a reality and right check so to speak! I appreciate Pastor Phil and his fire for God!!!

I’ve been going to those food bank for a little over 2 months now which the selection that they give you is great! And my family and I are very grateful for since times have been tough. Unfortunately every visit I have been there some of the volunteers are just awfully rude! They make you feel almost worthless to come and get food from this church which is very hurtful in a way. I just recently had my wallet stolen and the ID card that they issue you was in my wallet, I came this Saturday morning to get another one and the lady told me I could not get another one unless I showed her my police report. She made me feel like I was a criminal trying to take food somehow from everyone else when in reality my family and I are just trying to get by. As a church I am very disappointed in...

From the food pantry on Saturdays, 4S group helping homeless, feeding downtown dining w/dignity to even youth nights.. that is just a few from what this church does then just a sermon every Sunday. Family Church is a place full of the Holy Spirit. The greeters welcome you with smiles or even a hug on that hard day. They respond very quickly to any post so that is hands down awesome!! Who doesn’t like immediate answers! The pastors make you feel personable like you know them for years. I didn’t even know Pastor Phillip knew my name lol 🤪 I sit in the back and I show up to events unannounced and the love I feel showing up..you couldn’t find no where else to me.
