You can park between 6-9 vehicles there, depending on size. There is not drive-on beach access. There are stairs you have to walk up and back down but the beach is unbelievably beautiful and worth it. The waves can be a tad dramatic, so be careful of tide going out (rip currents), but otherwise, breathtaking views and quiet. I'm a big girl, and I did have to take a break after walking up the stairs, to catch my breath, but like I said, it's worth it. You can see from my photos how pretty is there. And, for the record, I'm a FL native, born and raised, so I know all about nice beaches and this is definitely one of them.

Be prepared to walk the stairs to get to the beach. No trash on the beach. Saw a turtle by the parking area. 🥰Not that many parking spots so come early if you're coming during the summer. I visited on a Monday in March. Will definitely be back again.

We just needed a quick place to pull over and walk along the beach. There are about 20 parking spots, stairs and a boardwalk to the beach but no services....no showers, no bathrooms, no frills. But worked for us!

10+ miles of nice beach, great for bike riding. WARNING! St. Johns County Sheriff's Office is UN-FRIENDLY TO E-BIKE RIDERS ON BEACH! I was stopped by a Sheriff's Deputy, my ID run through the system, and given a STERN WARNING! My crime: using my e-bike throttle to get through some soft, uneven sand, and presumably exceeding the 10 mph speed limit. FACT: My phone's tracking app recorded my average moving speed at 10.8 mph!!! I might add, I'm 73 years old, and I sometimes need to use the throttle instead of pedalling to reduce stress on my knees and joints. But no, they can't permit that -- "If you use the THROTTLE, you need to ride on the ROAD". So, I guess the next time I'll pedal through the rough areas and spend the next 3 months recovering from...

This is a little unknown area of St. Augustine beaches and is almost always never crowded. I am handicapped and walk with a cane and stairs are not easy for me but it is so worth it to be at this beach. No bathrooms no showers no frills. Just a beautiful clean turquoise water beach. Not a lot of parking. If you aren't coming alone or with one or two other people and without a lot of stuff this is for you. Probably the most beautiful beach in...
