This is a large city park with ball fields, swimming pool and a lot of open space. We stopped at the Lions Club walking path near the entrance of the park. A mini park in a park. Very well kept shady trail maybe a quarter of a mile long. It has a small waterfall and pond at the beginning of the walk and a fountain at the back. There are benches along the way to rest and ponder life. Very peaceful. Also a nice gazebo near the entrance. Would be an excellent photo location when all the flowers are blooming. Trivia question. Read moreGreat Park I grew up right next to this park. It has seen some changes throughout the years. The latest being Frisbee Golf. I always thought the place looked like a golf course. Anyway great way to use the park and I see a lot of people using the course while I am walking the dogs. Lots of sports can be played here... Baseball, pickleball, tennis, soccer. Concessions and bathrooms are up on a hill near the parking lot (with no easy access for handicapped), and no stairs - which for those people bring a wagon or heavily loaded stroller could be problematic.
