Drift Inn, is certainly one of the best beaches in the mid coast area. Don't expect lots of sand on high tide but it has a long sand bar in which you can walk out on. When it is low tide, you can walk out a decent distance to the water. It is a very beautiful beach that has lots of different things going on because of the tides. They have opportunities for swimming, tide pooling, climbing on rocks as well as making sand castles. These activities can be a little different depending on the tide. The parking is alright. You can either park on the side of the road which is sketchy or you can park in their parking lot which is away from the beach by a couple hundred feet. They don't have bathrooms, just a port a potty. This is a beautiful place to swim out to in the summer as well as visiting in the winter because it has a good way of having the sun set on the ocean as well as having a beautiful sun rise. Overall, this is a great beach to visit, if you aren't a local, it is a little ways away but besides that it is worth coming to. Depending on what type of tide you prefer, it would be a good idea to plan a head and see what time is best according to its...

The physical component of the wash is accomplished with rotating and dragging foam ribbons, which is much easier on automotive finishes than brushes but can still occasionally allow for grit and small debris to be dragged across your clearcoat. There is another caveat: the automated system works fine for cards and half ton pickup trucks. However, heavy duty trucks are too large, and the brushes don't reach the center of the bumpers grill, and tailgate. It's easy enough to go through once, drag a wad of paper towels over those points, and then go back through the washer again. For people who swap their cars out every couple years, lessees, and people with with vehicles, however, this place is a godsend. Golden Nozzle offers unlimited wash subscriptions for as little as $14.99 a month, allowing people to wash their vehicles whenever they want for a price as little as one and a half times the cost of a wash. As a small business owner, this gives me the ability to always look shiny and clean when I pull up to a client's house or jobsite. I probably average four...
Read moreIt's a very small rocky beach, not sandy. There's a small stretch along the road where you can park your car and walk over the rocks, sit on them and enjoy the beautiful water view. Locals are super nice to give directions and they don't make a fuss about dogs if you bring yours( bring poop bags). Even tho it's in a residential area, it's kept clean. This spot is a stone's throw from the boat line that you can book to make trip to Monhegan island for hiking trails and stunning ocean front scenery. One thing to note is there's not much shade and it's not possible to setup an umbrella on rocky beaches. If you're around Port Clyde, it's highly recommended. They need to provide trash bins for tourists both on Monhegan island and around drift...
