Visited for the first time today for my son's birthday. Overall the kids had fun and there is a good variety of pools, activities, and vending. The place was clean with multiple guards patrolling.
I give this 3 stars because of the unpolite staff. Upon entry we were charged for my 2 year old son (under 3 is free). We asked the cashier, who didn't ask the kids ages, for a refund (paid cash) and was told no. I asked the next person who checked our ticket to allow entry and she said we could have a refund, and proceeded to get a manager.
Second, our life vest wasn't coast guard approved so we had to leave it at the door and use theirs, then pick up upon return. I understand the rule and was okay with this. When we were leaving I asked the guard up front for the vest and he acted like he didn't know what I was talking about. I told him to check the office because I wasn't leaving without it. Thankfully, he was able to retrieve it.
Third, in the whirl pool area many kids were wrestling, hanging on the walls, and otherwise blocking the flow of the pool. Nobody ever intervened. This made it difficult at times to enjoy with my younger kids.
Fourth, at the end of the day we were changing and I didn't see that my mother exited the bathroom and out the front of the facility with my 2 year old. When I exited, I had my 5 year old and checked near the lockers not far from the exit. The guard sweeping looked at me and I mentioned I was looking for my other son and mother. She rudely said, "Well I don't think they'd come this way". I feel she could've said something more like, I didn't see them come this way.
I would like to come back because my kids did enjoy themselves. I understand there are rules, just be nice to other nice people and educated on...

My family, along with our family friends, went to this water park on 6/6/2021 around 11:30am. The employee at the entrance was extremely rude. My friend has an infant son; who we brought an infant floaty for... we were told that we could not use it for the infant child due to it not being "coast guard approved". But toddlers could were arm floaties, as long as they didn't wonder more than an arms length away from their adult parent? Makes sense, huh? When we asked what floaty we could use for a 6 month old infant, they pointed to a floaty that is supposed to be used on a toddler. Once we told them that those were used for toddlers and the infant was too small for that floaty, the employee told my friend to "Just hold him". The employee asked if we had drinks or snacks with us. My friend stated that she had FORMULA and APPLE JUICE for her INFANT son. The employee told her that she had to dump it out before entering the water park. Seriously. When my friend questioned this employee about how it was for her INFANT, the employee hesitated and said that we could keep the formula but had to dump out the juice. So, with that being said.. when are you, as a company and customer facing atmosphere, going to supply formula and actual infant floatation devices for parents who have no choice but to dump out formula/infant juice at the gate and being told to "just hold them"? This was the worst experience my family has ever had to experience and we will not be wasting our time and money here again. First and last time at this place. Do not...
Read moreIf I could have given it a negative star I would have and we didn't even actually make it into the park. So yesterday on 6-19-2021 I brought my family to this park. Unfortunately after having out belongings rummaged through we were told we could not bring a life jacket for our 2 year old inside as it didn't meet there guidelines. My child isn't a strong swimmer as I explained but they still refused our flotation device which we have used at multiple other water parks including Farmington water park and hurricane Harbour at six flags St Louis. I begged the young woman explaining we drove a considerable distance and it was my son's birthday but with a smug expression on her face she refused. She suggested we buy there devices offered for sale . Explaining are limited financial capability that was not an option. She then says and I quote are lifeguards are great if he starts to drown. Shocked at this statement we left immediately. I later checked into life jackets are official ratings and found that more then anything the ratings are designed to pass on higher costs to consumers.
With my children in tears we left. We went to the Farmington missouri location and had zero problems all our belongs were allowed and the staff were friendly and made us feel so welcome.
I can only speak to our experience but I would never visit this facility again. They are facing some financial difficulties according to local council members I contacted so that may explain the push to sell there products at inflated prices...
