Hunter's Ridge Winery — Attraction in Salem

I recently visited a pizza place and the coffee shop next door, and I was blown away by both!

Starting with the pizza place, the ambiance was warm and inviting. The menu was diverse, offering classic and unique pizza options, all made with fresh ingredients. The crust was thin and crispy, and the toppings were bountiful and flavorful. I particularly enjoyed the barbaque pizza and the daily special.

As for the coffee shop next door, it was a true gem. The baristas were knowledgeable and passionate about coffee, and they took the time to explain the different brewing methods and roast profiles. The coffee was rich and smooth, with a perfect balance of acidity and bitterness. I was also impressed by the variety of drinks available, including lattes, cappuccinos, and pour-overs. The shop also had a small selection of pastries and snacks, which were all delicious.

There's a reason it has 5 stars. We stopped in after the maple syrup festival and we will absolutely be back. It's not as big and fancy as Huber's, but it is a cute spot out in the country with every bit as much charm...without all the bustle. The wines we tasted were terrific, and the staff was super welcoming and enthusiastic about their offerings. We had a glass, snacked on the charcuterie, and just enjoyed the afternoon. The owners were beyond welcoming, they drew a map for us by hand to help us get to the interstate. The wine was absolutely delicious and the labels on the bottles are very cute (I am keeping my bottle for decoration). They have a porch to sit on that looks out on beautiful scenery, there were lots of humming birds to watch. Over all it was a very good experience and we would gladly recommend...
