Smoky Hill Vineyards & Winery — Attraction in Salina

We really enjoyed our visit. The tasting room is small and not really a place to hang out and spend time. However, the staff is friendly! I wish I'd caught names but the marketing lady with awesome hair did a great job and the owner (the wife) came in and was also enjoyable to talk to. They're knowledgeable without being snobbish and they have a great variety of wines. I'm always a Norton fan, and both of them were spot on. I don't typically care for anything sweet or semi-sweet, but the 3 Aces is a MUST try! It's just a hint too sweet for my liking, but so light I know I will find the perfect occasion on which to enjoy it. Thanks for a great visit, we'll be back...

Made a reservation on a whim since we were visiting Salina for the day, and couldn't be happier with this experience. The building is small but has such a nice atmosphere, and we were treated to an hour of wine education/conversation and perfect winery puppy interaction.
