A wine tasting room built into the basement of the host's house, what a cool concept! The way it's designed, you would think you were in the wine cellar of a restaurant. There is a bar to sit at and tables set up in an adjoining room. The host was slammed with many customers when we arrived to do a tasting, but he was still very pleasant. Wines were tasty and we ended up buying a bottle to go. Maybe a trip here in the warmer months would be a good idea, as there were many vines outside and nice views!

We had an absolutely fantastic experience visiting Black Bear Vineyard!! Ted was amazing! He walked us through all the different wines they offer, explaining what makes those particular wines able to grow in colder climates, and offering us samples of all their best sellers! Their Cabernet Sauvignon is truly Cab-elicious and has the awards to prove it. We’re counting down the days until we get to go back!!

Excellent experience! My husband and I took a drive up north and came across this place in our travels - so glad we did! We had some of the best wine we've ever had during our tasting (even a lemoncello that was to die for!) The wine and the great owners will keep you coming back for more! I wish they would ship to where we live, but I know we'll be back anyway!

We stumbled upon Black Bear Winery while planning our road trip from Montréal to NH and we were pleasantly surprised. Ted, the owner, was very welcoming and kind, along with being a great entertainer. We had so many laughs with his stories and humor! He was very generous with his time and showed us around his beautiful land, explaining the process of how the wine is produced. We all went away with a bottle (or 3) 😊 highly recommended this spot for any wine...

Secluded yet what a surprise to crest the hill and be met with a gorgeous house surrounded by rolling hills, fields and water. A beautiful brick walk way leads to the entry of the wine cellar! As you descend into what looks like a wine barrel, the antique walls and cork bar are inviting. Kelly and Ted are great down to earth people. Kelly was very knowledgeable and full of life! Very clean and a great selection of tastes in wine. Be sure to pet...
