Worst casino experience ever. I had a favorite machine here and was a reasonably regular patron. Labor Day 2025 I decided to go to Salt Creek Casino with my husband. We had dinner at the Fork like normal and played a couple different games. I ended up at slots across from my favorite machine. There was a man playing the neighboring machine and my favorite one. He was dirty, smelled of stale cigarettes and alcohol and seemed generally unpleasant. I stayed across the isle watching my husband play another game. My husband triggered the feature on his game and felt it wasn't going to pay out anymore. He cashed out his ticket and pointed out that my favorite game was free. We moved over to those machines, the one where the unpleasant man had been sitting was covered in garbage and ashes so my husband sat on the other side and I sat at my favorite machine. I put in my players club card and my husband's ticket from the other machine. I began playing and was winning a little. Four or five minutes in the unpleasant man returned to the trash covered machine on the other side of me. He didn't say anything for a couple of minutes but he stank horribly and I actually considered moving. I asked my husband if I should keep playing after the next 10 game set. I didn't say it was because of the stinky man on my left but it was. That is when my husband noticed there was more money in my machine than there should have been. He mentioned it and I agreed that it didn't make sense. At that moment the stinky man said I had taken his money. He insisted that he had left money in the machine and said I was trying to steal it. I told him that I had just realized there was more money in the machine than there should have been and pointed out that he hadn't been anywhere near the machines for several minutes after I sat down. He was rude and belligerent and I just wanted it to end. I asked him how much he thought he had left in the machine and he said $65 or $70. I told him that was impossible because I knew I had won about $18 and had also put in at least $18 and there was only $65 in the machine. He said it should all be his and became more aggressively rude. I immediately cashed out and went to the nearest atm to cash in the ticket. I decided to give him $40 and keep the difference because I wasn't sure exactly how much either of us had and I was trying to return kindness for hate. I handed the man $40 and said how about you take $40 and I'll keep $26 since we don't know exactly how much either of us had? I really thought that was fair and honestly, I thought it was nicer than most people would be. Instead of taking the bigger part of the split with gratitude he snatched the money from me and said "maybe I'll report you to security for stealing my money, I've done it before." I was outraged by his behavior and told him to give me the money back which he did. I immediately walked to the nearby gaming tables and reported the issue to an employee named Raven who at the time I thought might be a manager. The stinky man followed close behind me but chose to speak to a security guard named Thomas. Raven talked briefly with Thomas and told me security would be over to speak with me soon. I watched security talk to the man and then go back to the machine. Fifteen minutes later I was standing in the same spot when I asked Raven if someone was coming. He called security over and Thomas and a female security guard finally came to talk to me. Raven apologized and said he thought they would have gotten with me. He told them again that I had reported the situation and they were super confused, unable to understand even the basics of, "a rude old man walked up to me and insisted that I had intentionally stolen his money while I was simply playing a slot machine." By the 50 minute mark I was still waiting while the old man was over just playing the slots in his filth. Manager on Duty, Brandy, reassured me she would talk to him about his behavior and took $48 to return to him. He was rude, I was kind. He got attention, I was ignored. Never...
Read moreI have won many jackpots at this smaller casino. With it's small footprint this casino has it all ranging from 1¢ slots, larger denominations and even table games. They keep up to date by installing the newest, most popular slots for their patrons. When You get a 'Player's Club' card the first time You can get free play and other benefits. Everything is in one larger building making it convenient if You came with a friend and get separated. There is a nice little restaurant that closes at 10pm. with a good selection of offerings which are made fresh and brought to Your table. Thursday is "Senior's Day" where patrons 50+yrs. that have earned at least 20pts. using their "Player's Club" card between the previous Fri.-Wed. will receive $15 Free Play and a coupon for a free meal valid for that day. When using the card You will also receive offers & free play in the mail, by email and/or text depending on Your preferences. Don't let the size of this casino fool You into thinking it doesn't have a lot of potential because the regulars know that there is always a jackpot to be won and the atmosphere is filled with the sounds of people winning throughout. They have a nice centrally located bar and a fair sized high limit slots room but there are slots of ALL denominations to be found everywhere. The staff is very friendly and willing to assist You, there are 2 self serve beverage stations, and they have automated ticket redemption/ATM machines in several convenient spots along with 2 separate ATM's. The restrooms are meticulously kept by their hard working staff. The parking lots are huge, including an area for oversize vehicles (semis, motorhomes, towed trailers, etc.) however valet parking is not available. Enjoy Your gaming at this somewhat hidden gem owned & run by the Chickasaw Tribe of Oklahoma. 2 of their other casinos are "Newcastle Casino" in Newcastle, OK. and "Riverwind Casino" in Norman, OK. I hope You...
Read moreBest casino in Oklahoma hands down. I win almost every single time I come to this casino. On average I leave with $1,000 which to me is a pretty good night. I know some people bet a lot more than I do but for generally keeping it under $5 bets and only going in with 1 to 200 I call that a pretty good run for the night. Not saying that I haven't lost money here but I'm definitely up on The Ledger at the moment. The employees are polite courteous and attentive. Their store sells small food items for if you get hungry late at night and even has a few nice novelty items for sale as well. Do not miss out on the ooey gooey butter cake you will regret it for the rest of your life! Also this is the only Casino I have found that sells the casino brand coffee. All of these casinos in Oklahoma sell the same type of chocolate and when you become a member that generally give you a chocolate bar. Salt creek sells the coffee that is made by the same brand and it is without a doubt the most delicious coffee I've ever had in my life. $10 for a half pound maybe a little on the high side but it's worth it. The only downside is having to deal with the attendant inside the store....I cant say why but she just drives me crazy. Generally I leave before I'm done shopping out of frustration with her having to throw in her two cents on every single thing I look at or say to my Fiance. I have not had a chance to eat at the restaurant yet but to...
