Bonneville Shoreline Preserve — Attraction in Salt Lake City

Truly a Gem in our backyard. The views of the city and the west mountains are great. It is safe, convenient, and hugely variable experience depending on what you want to get out of it. It can be a gentle walk around the contoured trail, or head east and straight up to the many ridges. It's a nice walk around to City Creek, but takes some coordination and shuttling to prevent an in-and-out hike. No water along the trail...

Beautiful trail. It was refreshing to be away from the sounds of the city, and even though everything was dead, it's still so pretty!
