I have been to the museum many times and still want give the exhibits 5 stars, but my last experience wasn't so great. I got off work early and drove straight there so I could make it before they closed. Still in my mechanics uniform they ask who I was with. In confusion I replied that I was by myself. They proceeded to ask if I was there to inspect the building for bugs. Starting to feel embarrassed I said that I just wanted to see the museum. I got a quick reply of, you know it cost money to get in. At this point I just wanted to get away from these employees so I gave them my money, which wasn't a problem, and went to see the exhibits I came to see. On my way out I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and talk to them about the displays and one again wasn't received well. I do plan on going back but I plan on giving it a good while in hopes these...

I was super impressed with the details of geologic history and the interactive exhibits from prehistoric times through settlement of the valley onto the importance of the salt mines during wartime and industrialization. I was impressed with the amount of information and detailed displays including a small theater setup for a selection of films and digital presentations. The museum also showcased a temporary exhibit of The Parade of Trees. I really enjoyed viewing the different clubs and local organizations that decorated Christmas trees for display, especially the Patriot Tree. I ended my visit in the gift shop and was delighted with the variety of books, cards, and other items including a window cling sticker NaCl...
