Shoofly Farm — Attraction in Sammamish

If I could give Shoofly Farm 0 stars, I would. My children attended this camp a few summers ago and had a wonderful time. They made ice cream, played on the swings, learned about animals, etc. Because they had such a great time, I signed them up for another summer. Unfortunately, due to Covid, we were unable to attend the summer camp and I contacted the camp director (Jill) to see if we can get a refund and she responded and said that they will offer a refund. A month later and we have not received our refund. Then I emailed her again and she responded that a check should be in the mail. The summer camp was $575 per child so we paid $1150 total for our 2 boys. A month later when we did not receive our refund check, I emailed her again and no response.

We are all dealing with a hard time with Covid and $1150 is alot of money for us. I am upset that Jill did not respond to my emails and seems to think that if she continues to ignore me, she won't have to refund...

I am commenting on the business practices of Shoofly Farm Camps. Their policy is to allow cancellations for full refund if done so at least a week before the camp. I cancelled over 6 weeks before the camp. Jill insisted the check was in the mail. After over a month of the back and forth, I had to involve my credit card company because she never refunded my money. DO NOT register for this camp if you might need to cancel. I just received an email that she is allowing people to pay a deposit of half the price or fully prepay NOW for camp NEXT summer. Hopefully she will use that money to refund people like myself....
