Sorich Park — Attraction in San Anselmo

I'm a mom of 3 and local family photographer. After a recent family photography session here, I'm feeling so much appreciation for this beautiful open space in Marin and wanted to come share my experience.

I love natural spaces that are nourishing for both adults and littles as well. I look for places that are expansive, safe, serene, beautiful and accessible. Sorich Park checks all the boxes. These criteria are important both for photography sessions, and also for recreation outings with my own family.

I love the trailheads that start at the top of the hill, so it's a quick walk to the views. One particular fire road at the top also has a beautiful lined path of eucalyptus trees, just about 50 yards from from parking!

For a full day hike, there are miles of trails that go through the full park with beautiful view after beautiful view.
