This park needs a different name ghetto park. Let me explain. My bro and I had just finished a 5k earlier that day and I had my dog with me so we decided to find a park on way home past 87. Well we didn't realize there were 2 Comanche parks (one was a trail on nacogdoches) so that was really annoying. Finally we found this one on rigsby but it was packed with 49ers fans?!? Ew. And they were playing horrible music I'm into hip hop but this was straight gangsta rap with profanity. Gross. Then some gates were locked and we finally found a picnic table area but truthfully it was weird BC I think we were in some reservation area but the family was too nice to say something....overall never again should've tried Brackenridge...

I was out last week exploring the lovely parks this city has improved on so very much and started at what I'll call Pecan Valley Park till the day I die, prolly, on the south side where I grew up. I think it's called Lyons something or other. It was a beautiful day and riding through Pecan Valley park was so cool! Any others in the park that I came across were helpful, pleasant and very nice. I was happy to find Pecan Valley was connected to Comanche Park. It looks like a grand place to have a party, very family oriented. I totally recommend for a lovely way to...

I went to the Juneteenth Festival sponsored by Budweiser. The event was free, you just pay for food and beverages. The "Clue" was the band playing, they had some acoustics issues which took away from their performance. Some karaoke was done and some of the people really could sing. Later the group "Brick" played and they were fantastic. This was a family friendly event. We had the barbecue plate which was $8.00 my husband enjoyed it but he said it wasn't worth $8.00. Eventually, they ran out of regular beer, all they had left was Mangarita Beer....

One of Samuel and I’s favorite things to do is spot wildlife and Comanche Lookout Park did not disappoint šŸšŸ¦Œ - We went for the sunset views and ended up running into both a snake and a deer. - If you haven’t been, it’s such a peaceful little escape. Let’s wander together šŸ—ŗļø Follow our Instagram: @Sophia.saucey.j to subscribe from the link in the bio - #adventure #Hiking #texas #texashikes #sunset

I love this park. Perfect for any age. Picnic tables under huge trees made it even more enjoyable. Bathrooms are near by. Just wish the slides had coverage from sun. The slides are AWESOME but didn’t get to slide on any of them because it was too hot(12pm). The creek needs to be clean out. Tires and trash. The creek IS beautiful though. Binoculars were faded and couldn’t see through them. OVER ALL A GREAT PARK!! Keeps the kids entertained longer because it was such a large playground!
