It was my first time at this “Fall Festival” that wasn’t great. The entrance is completely over priced. $56 for 3 adults and 1 child. What do you get for this price? You get to walk through an over populated corn maze that made it really hard to capture the moment in photos if you wanted to because there were people 1ft in front of you and if you stopped to take a picture there were crowds of people behind since this is the only real attraction included right the entrance and the hay ride which had a ridiculously long line thus long wait time. There were maybe a few places you could take pictures at if they weren’t taken by folks that needed 100 photos for their social media. There was a big slide for kids and a small bubbles station they could make bubbles at. There was a giant jumping thing in the middle for kids. There was a foam machine where your kids end up soaked in soap if you’re into that sort of thing and want your kids getting in your car with wet clothes and mud. The pony rides were extra, the “paintballing” was extra, the face paint was extra, basically anything else outside of what I already mentioned was extra. There wasn’t a huge selection of pumpkins for the “a patch.” The food vendors were really over priced and there was not a big selection so the lines were really long. I’ve gone to fall festivals that were free that had more to offer. Not sure what the hype is all about but this was not it. The entrance should have been free if they were going to charge for everything else separately. This was such a big disappointment, don’t be fooled by...
Read moreI had a great experience with Dade City Farms itself, the activities were great for my toddler, and the staff was very friendly. Unfortunately, the fruit vendor ruined the entire day. I politely asked what sizes were available, he told me to read the sign. I then asked if we could chose specific fruits, since it was for my toddler, and he said disrespecfully, "I'm not the one eating it, you're the one eating it, so I'm not going to tell you what to eat, read the sign". This was an inappropriate way to speak to a client who is simply asking a question, in front of other people, and in front of my child. Frankly, his tone and language was that of someone who shouldn't be working there representing the farm, with family around. I was very nice from the beginning, asked him how he's doing, and he wouldn't answer any simple questions about the fruit he was serving. I ended up not getting the fruits and leaving due to bad service, disrespectful responses in front of other clients and my kids, and unwillingness to answer simple questions. This vendor ruined the entire experience, he has likely been speaking in this rude manner to many other clients, leaving them without wanting to return...
Read moreThis place is incredible. I have been to a lot of fall festivals and this by far is the best one, if you have small children. they had a foam machine that the kids could absolutely get soaked in bubbles with which my daughter Loved. They also had a jumping pillow and bubbles that the kids could make as well as a tractor ride and a petting zoo. There were big slides for the kids to go down, a ball pit, a corn pit, and a sandbox. The vendors were amazing. We got these mini Pancakes all done up with Nutella and Oreos and whipped cream along with Some Mexican street corn and country lemonade. The price is right we will be back again to experience their Christmas and their...
