Darby Farm — Attraction in San Antonio

I cannot speak more highly of this venue! It was absolutely perfect from beginning to start. Amanda, the owner, was such a sweet, caring and professional woman to work with. She made things feel easy and really cared about our experience. She answered all of our questions almost immediately each time and was happy to schedule times for me to come back to see the venue multiple times during the planning process with other vendors. The setting of the venue was so peaceful outside, all you can hear when you step out of your car is birds. It calmed me so much on my wedding day. We got so many compliments on our wedding because of the natural beauty that already exists there. I loved that we could get ready onsite and so could the groomsmen. People made good use of all the space available, including the fire pit, cocktail bar area and inside. I wish I could do this day over and over again!! I had my wedding at Darby Farm in April '23 and it was the absolute perfect venue. From the start, Amanda was so friendly, helpful, quick to respond, and customer oriented. She let me come to the venue as many times as I liked and was so flexible. One of the best parts is the décor that you are able to use. It saved me so much money and it was so easy to not have to transport extra items. This includes arches, champagne walls, greenery, yard games, vases, and so much more. The space is beautiful, with an outdoor ceremony under the trees, a spacious cocktail area outside, and an air conditioned reception area. It is consistently being updated and is well taken care of. Not to mention, the adorable animals you pass by when driving up. I loved that the bride and groom suites were onsite and include mini fridges, TVs, private bathrooms, and more. Darby Farm is absolutely nothing short of amazing!!! We had our vowel renewal here in August and they went above and beyond to make sure every single detail was perfect! My husband surprised me with this renewal and I learned of it just two weeks before arrival… I had no idea what to expect, but upon arrival… it quickly became a fairytale! There was not a single detail left out and they made sure of it! They have the best hidden gem tucked back in Dade City! As I see pictures of other events posted on their Facebook page… it’s incredible to watch Darby Farm grow and even though.. No matter what type of event you consider having here… DO IT! Its absolutely beautiful!! I look forward to returning even if it’s just to pet their adorable animals!! 5 stars, incredible memories and a returning client for sure!
