The Barn At Oak Creek — Attraction in San Antonio

This place is magical, it takes you out of Florida and make you feel like you are somewhere else. No traffic or noise distractions to worry about. If you and your partner are looking for rolling hills, beautiful oak trees, and views of a green pasture that goes for miles this is it! One of our favorite parts of our wedding was our ceremony. We choose to have our wedding at the "Wedding Tree" (there is a few areas to choose from for your ceremony on the property) This ceremony site is what had us saying yes to our venue even before the actual barn for the reception was even built! To get to this ceremony site there is a beautiful wooden bridge built crossing over a running creek to get to "The Wedding Tree" which is this beautiful Oak Tree with branches that shade your entire ceremony area accompanied by restored antique church pews. This ceremony site was so beautiful I felt guilty "Fluffing it up" with flowers and wedding decor because it was just breath taking without all of that I chose not too (Which saves money ladies!) Our Reception was held at the Barn. The Barn isn't one of those tacky colored Red Barns that every wedding looks the same! The barn is all natural wood with rustic touches which allows any decor/ wedding style. The barn includes a women's & mens restroom with multiple stalls, Grooms Suite and the Bridal suite is very open, comfortable, tons of electrical outlets, great lighting and an entire wall with mirrors which is so important when getting ready! The barn also has kitchen area with a large fridge, utility sink and tons of counter space. One of our favorite parts about the barn is that it doesn't have to be enclosed! They built this barn to be able to have the most spectacular views from being inside! All of the sides and back of the barn open up and look out to the pasture which is a remarkable view with the sunset and horse's running through the pasture. This venue includes beautiful clear chiavari chairs, Rustic round tables seats 8 and 10 guest per table, unique antique pieces perfect for your gift/ card table and even an antique secretary desk that was perfect for our guest book! It was so nice not needing to rent any furniture or pieces for our wedding and saved a ton!

The Barn at Oak Creek is going to be one of Tampa’s up and coming venues. From the moment we pulled up on the property the grounds were beautiful and immediately made us feel like we were no longer in Florida.

Upon arriving we met Daryl and Alan, who were a dream to work with. Daryl advised us that they had been putting on the finishing touches to the barn, for their first wedding in February 2020. She thought of everything for an elegant rustic wedding from Antique furniture, espresso farmhouse tables, clear chiavari chairs and so many other details.

With our tour they took us to a few different wedding sites, our favorite being the Wedding Tree. Guests would take a short walk over a bridge to a shaded meadow with one single oak tree. This view around sunset is breathtaking. Before touring this venue I had never imagined my ceremony, only my reception. After viewing the Wedding Tree, I immediately knew that this was our venue. Unfortunately, due to family illness our wedding plans have changed and we have decided on a civil ceremony, rather than a traditional ceremony and reception.

Throughout this whole process and heartache, Daryl was a dream to work with.

I cannot say enough about The Barn at Oak Creek. We looked at several venues for my daughter’s wedding, but fell in love immediately with The Barn at Oak Creek. The site beneath a beautiful oak tree, lined with wooden church pews, was a stunning backdrop for their wedding vows. Then there’s the barn for the reception. It is beyond gorgeous! We learned that the owners built the barn using wood from their land. The reception was breathtaking with ample room for the bar, DJ, dance floor, dessert bar, and caterer. The Barn at Oak Creek has it all and caters to your individual wants and needs. The owners were extremely professional and easy to work with. They were accommodating and flexible in how we wanted to set it up and gave us many options. They gave us a list of suggested vendors to use and we found our caterer, photographer, wedding planner, etc from the list provided. Everyone wants their wedding day to be perfect and The Barn at Oak Creek did not disappoint in ensuring everything was magical.
