Splash Pad area review
$4 per child times vary for recreational swim I think it's from 11 to 245pm double check for summer and off peak season.
Didn't use the locker rooms we brought everything we needed and came in ready to play. Shower before you get in, just to ensure cleanliness.
It's gated enclosed with 3 areas to sit under the shade, 2 umbrellas and 3 picnic tables with loungers.
Water and area extremely clean
Life guards are very strict as they should be, they are on rotation and very prompt. They are very kind and attentive to the kids and with their warnings.
Rules are clear, talk to your littles so everyone can have fun!
If your littles can't follow directions, you will be asked to leave.
Water slides, water spouts everything clean and working order.
Water is about 2 feet deep under the structure, with a few inches to about 1ft before. Leaving lots of sensory play for babies/ infants. If your kids are bigger than the toddlers please be kind enough to direct them to the big pool instead of over running the 3 4 year olds. There's no height limit per say, however if kids are over the fence, they don't need to be playing unless it's their siblings helping them.
Definitely recommend! Bring a picnic by the Splash pad, clean up after yourselves. No trash...
Read moreTierrasanta Rec. Center is great because it has two (2) indoor basketball courts and a couple of meeting rooms. Outdoors, there are two basketball courts, a baseball diamond, a large grass field, tennis courts, and a children's playground. There is also a swimming pool on the opposite end of the park in a separate facility.
The facilities are well kept and the hours are good: the indoor courts close at 9 p.m. and the outdoor courts have lights until 10 p.m. (refer to the center's website for daily hours). There's also lot of parking, but it can get crowded when there is an event going on, like youth football.
This park has a lot going for it and it is tucked away deep in Tierrasanta, so it doesn't get as crowded as most community parks. I've been coming here for basketball every week for the last few years. Definitely worth visiting if you want to play a pick-up basketball game, exercise, do yoga, or bring your children for a day...
Read moreLove the French fries over here! Anytime I'm craving french fries this is where I always want to go. I've tried several of their burgers and they are pretty good too. I would skip out on the fish burger though. It was definitely too oily and not as country as I would have liked it. the inside eating area is small but the outside eating area is 2 and relaxing. They serve beer here and the prices are reasonable especially because the flavor is so memorable. I know it sounds weird but I judge food places on how yummy the food was and if I remember how yummy it was when I walk...
