Riverside Springs — Attraction in San Marcos

I recently got married and had our wedding reception at Three Dudes. It was awesome, and a GREAT price compared to other wedding venues in the area. Jessie, the lady who works at Three Dudes and who helped us arrange everything, was wonderful, patient and very prompt in answering all our questions. She even helped us find a vendor for a tent when we were in a pinch. In addition to providing a great locale, Three Dudes contracts with Black's Barbecue in Lockhart (great food) for catering, and table, chair and linen rental is included in your cost, so less vendors you'll have to deal with, which is great for brides who can't afford a wedding planner like me!! They even helped us find some cake plates the day of -- which I didn't realize I had forgotten until after cutting the cake -- yikes! : ) Liquor isn't allowed, but you can bring your own beer for the reception and pick a few of their wines to serve -- they're very tasty. For our wedding in April 2021, we rented the Riverside Springs venue and airBnB for the weekend. The venue, including both the property and buildings onsite (airBnB, restrooms, bridal suite, groom suite, large covered hall with built-in bar) are beautiful - rustic and well kept - so (bonus!) we were able to keep decorations simple/minimal. The airBnB was previously a winery that was converted, which made for a unique stay. We also scheduled with Great Gonzo’s Tubes and Shuttles (same owners as Riverside Springs) a pre-wedding float down the San Marcos river, which was an experience that we (plus our guests) will always remember! All around, Riverside Springs was the perfect choice for our wedding and celebrations. They worked easily with the caterers, maintain a green, gorgeous river-front property, offer chairs/tables/tables cloths for rent - so you don’t have to rent those from a different company, offer an onsite AirBnb - which was really convenient, and it is much more affordable than comparable venues!
